1912 - Bee Ho marries Ada Sommerville

Ada Sommerville was a talented and beautiful Western performer and horse trainer who was one of the most respected trainers of her time. She trained several horses that belonged to some of the most famous people involved in the world of the Wild West shows including Ben Hur, the well-known horse of Zack Miller of the 101 Ranch.

Sometime between 1902 and 1910, Ada acquired the famous horse, Columbus, that had once belonged to Buffalo Bill. She showed the horse's graceful skiils in both the Miller Brother 101 Ranch Wild West and California Frank's All-Star Wild West until the horse died in a barn fire while California Franks show was wintering in Augusta, Georgia in 1910.

Ada was a strong force in Bee Ho's life and career. She is by his side through many years and often not named in photos. She is mentioned in a number of books about early Wild West shows, but in many cases her name is spelled wrong. She is mentioned as "Ida" Sommerville on page 127 of "Bill Pickett, Bulldogger" (by Colonel Bailey C. Hanes, ISBN 0-8061-1391-X, University of Oklahoma Press).
